This morning, we went to the famous and huge Eumundi Market : the biggest art and craft market in Australia. There are more than 600 stalls and you can find everything: artworks, sculptures, furniture, handmade toys, homewards, skincare, as well as fashion and jewellery by local designers. And for the foodies like us, it is a wonderful place: coffee, chocolate, great cakes, indian food, thai, fresh products including fresh fruits and vegetables, freshly baked breads, locally made cheeses and yoghurts.
You can also enjoy good music from local talents or have a massage.
It was really pleasant to walk around and impressive to see how big it was.
Then, following the advice of our host, we went to a French Patisserie in Cooroy and bought a baguette and a croissant. Well, we were a bit disappointed as the baguette tasted like an industrial made one from Cora (French supermarket) and the croissant didn’t have the usual shape and was very fatty :-( However, it was still better than what you usually have in Australia…

Then, we had picnic in Noosa Heads and went back to Main beach to enjoy the sun (it was the first time we saw a beach so crowded in Australia).
Finally, we drove North to Maryborough where we had a great dinner with our couchsurfers Maria and Michael.
