This morning, we rented bikes, went for breakfast in town and then, went to An Bang Beach. Driving in Vietnam doesn't feel safe at all. The cars and buses pass you being very close (only a few centimetres). Once we got to the beach, we had to pay to park our bikes... The beach is packed with seats and beach umbrellas and people trying to make you seat. We managed to find a spot for our towels. The water was too cold, only Jeremie dared to swim.
Vietnam keeps surprising us every day: today the lifeguard on duty was playing with his phone the whole time, not watching the sea once! When he left, the next one came 15 minutes later and was almost sleeping... Absolutely useless!
Vietnamese people hang their hammock and sleep everywhere, and sometimes it is funny, like that one in the baggage hold of a bus!
We went back to our hotel and had a shower before heading back to town to meet up with Steve and Lorena for a drink. Then, the two of us had dinner and walked in the Ancient Town where we had a dessert (coconut cake, not too bad). We also visited a store making incense with Agarwood. It was interesting to see (no photo allowed).
