Friday 31 October
We started the day easily by labeling pots. Then, Jeremie had to spray again and Isabelle helped Peter potting.
On the afternoon, we went to Lacey Creek for a lovely walk in the rainforest, still looking for the invisible cassowary! The walk and the creek were really pretty, we saw beautiful butterflies but no cassowary (we just saw a footprint). We finished the day walking along Wongaling Beach.

Saturday 1st November
We worked from 8.00 until 11.00: Jeremie sprayed first and then, helped Isabelle and Jennifer potting.
We spent the afternoon on the beach at Etty Bay (50 min from Tully). On the way back, we briefly went to Kurrimine Beach. It is a really nice beach and the town is famous for its old tractors used to beach launch fishing boats!

The days are getting hotter and hotter. We have entered what it's called the « build-up »: it means that the humidity is increasing in the air before the start of the rainy season (December or January).

Sunday 2 November
Another beautiful (and hot) day in paradise! On the morning, we just relaxed. On the afternoon, we went to Wongaling Beach to try to refresh ourselves in the ocean but it was too warm to get refreshed :-)
On the way back, we finally saw a CASSOWARY crossing the road in front of our car!!! Yes, they do exist on the Cassowary coast, we had doubts about it! We're happy we saw one on our last trip to Mission beach!
On the evening, we helped Jennifer by cooking salad and BBQ.

Monday 3 November
Our last morning shift in the palm nursery! After putting 480 plants in row, Isabelle cleaned big and small palm trees for an order and Jeremie welded two heavy metal pieces on the deck for future doors.
On the afternoon, we tidied up our stuff as we’re leaving tomorrow.
This was our last night with Peter and Jennifer.
